Deep magenta. The perfumed nose showcases spice-accented cherry, raspberry and fragrant floral notes. Broad and seamless in texture, offering appealingly sweet red and blue fruit, allspice and licorice flavors and a touch of lavender. Delicate tannins add shape to the persistent, sharply focused finish, which echoes the spice and floral notes.

The 2020 Gigondas Terroir Daronton is mostly Grenache yet includes smaller amounts of Syrah and Mourvèdre. It's a medium to full-bodied, round, nicely textured 2020 with textbook notes of ripe cherries, mulberries, spice, and dried herbs. Drink this forward, satisfying Gigondas over the coming 7-8 years.

This juicy wine exudes fresh blackberries, red licorice, black pepper, coriander and oak spice. The finish adds another layer of eucalyptus, rose hip and stones. Enjoyable now.
