Black Magnolia Pinot Noir 2018
|Region||United States, Oregon, Willamette Valley|
Our 2018 Pinot Noir has complex aromatics of ripe cranberries with a rich earthiness and notes of black tea and cinnamon. The palate is true to Oregon with loads of raspberry and black cherry balanced by a hint of currant, all framed by silky tannins and vibrant acidity.
This is an odd new vintage for this value label. It's stiff, herbal and tannic, with flavors of green tea and lemon dominating. The berry flavors are tart and thin, and the finish tastes of roasted peanuts. Two bottles tasted with identical results.
