| A diverse array of superb sites in Napa Valley deliver structure, balance and purity. Restrained viticultural and winemaking practices lead to varietal purity and a balanced flavor footprint. Classic Bordelaise winemaking (handwork in vineyard, hand-picking and hand-sorting, new French oak barrels, egg-white fining, unfiltered) provides an impeccably balanced result. We do not endeavor to make an uber-ripe, over-oaked Cabernet Sauvignon. Instead, we look for nuance and balance. Collectively, our 2017 showcases superlative "Napa Valley Cabernet" in a classic, delicious and very well-mannered way. | |

Boneshaker Zinfandel 2016 |

| Older vines make bolder Zins. The main sources of this Zinfandel, the Bruella and Fathom Vineyards, are home to vines over forty years old. These vines produce intense, robust Zinfandel with full-tilt flavors. Brick red and deep purple in the glass, a bit of sweetness with a structured palate. Fruity at first, vanilla cream mid, and cacao chocolate with a bit of oak to finish. Delicious, bright, and fruit forward with many deep fruit characteristics standing out such as plum, cherry, and boysenberry. Food Pairing: Boneshaker's full body is a great pairing for cioppino, lasagna, or pizza. | |
