Telescope's Mavrud is a supple and captivating indigenous Bulgarian red that delights with appealing brushstrokes of distinctive flavors. The grapes are carefully harvested and sorted by hand. Following fermentation, the wine was aged for ten months in French oak barrels. Aromas and flavors of red fruit and cloves culminate in a long, spicy finish. A pure expression of a local Bulgarian favorite.
